I suspect the sensible liberal's remarks were a little more complex than the average MAGA is capable of understanding. Among his remarks he made it clear that trump is crazy, and with him and his cabal in office we have no one to protect democracy or the environment. Nothing in his remarks indicate that he doesn't think trumpsters are stupid, racist and homophobic. He only said we need to dumb down our remarks to a level they are capable of understanding.

I have been following American politics for 60 years. Ideological shifts do not last.

Lately the political climate is to throw out whoever is in power and start over.
