How does Google get into sites like this anyway I'm not very tech savy. Did someone here set it up like this? Are they getting paid and have no say where the adds are placed?

The site is now clunky, and shit skips around as the dozen ads slow the page as they load.
This is out of control.

Clunky, slow surfing, can't go to home page without full screen ads, can't read threads without the same ad popping up every two comments

Over the last 10 years there certainly have been. That's why I installed it. I get nasty grams when I open other sites like "Hi There! Hey it looks like your using and adblocker. Say it would be really great if......"

Not sure if this helps you but here it is:
Go to Manage Your Devices. Select Devices, and then select your Kindle e-reader or Fire tablet. Under Special Offers, click Remove offers. A pop-up window then displays the price to remove ads.
