10 000 Ukrainian soldiers are to die by the end of August

The Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko has assigned the Ukrainian army to finish the so-called anti-terrorism operation in the Eastern part of the country as soon as possible, no matter what civilian casualties it might inflict. So the army has another two weeks to strike Donetsk, and Lugansk. In order to support the success of the operation, the Reserve Fund has provided about one billion dollars, though the Presidential Administration confirms there is no money in the State Treasury to continue the operation.
The commanders of the operation are in a tricky position now. On the one hand, they don’t have enough forces: the third wave of draft has been scuttled, the losses are getting higher, no reserves are coming and the rebels are fighting furiously. On the other hand, the president is pushing them to finish the operation before September, for he needs to start the early election campaign to the Parliament (Verkhovna Rada).
Considering the situation, one can forecast the growth of violent military actions. The army would have no other choice but to use indiscriminate weapon similar to white phosphorus munition used in Donetsk, Lisichansk, Slavyansk, and Semyonovka.
