18 Democrat State Attorneys General Sue to Stop Trump’s Executive Order on Birthright Citizenship

Then why doesn’t the 14th of the constitution say “in the jurisdiction?”
Because children born of citizens abroad are also subject to the jurisdiction of the US. if you work abroad, you still need to pay income tax.

We will not deport American citizens against their will.

Children are legally held by parents, so if they go their kids will, too, unless legal arrangements are made otherwise.

If an illegal mother is deported with her 1 year old born here, and we send them back with her, they will use it as a rallying point.
Who gives a shit? They are just as wrong as they would have been 5 years ago. Nothing changed. Liberals are always hysterically wrong on most things, all the time. This will not change. The simple fact is the kid is a citizen and if the parents want to give them up for adoption, that is their prerogative if they are being deported. It is also their option to take the child with them and can return when they are of age. That is especially true if the parents have other children born outside the US being deported with them. To some it sucks, like those liberal airheads, but it is the law as it currently stands.

Want to change it? Change the Constitution to eliminate jus soli birthright. That way no one can ever reinterpret the wording easily as it is being attempted now.
