1974 Browning (Miroku) BL-22.

I picked-up this nice BL-22 this morning for $500.00. Decent deal on the rifle but the Redfield 4X 3/4" scope/rings made it a smokin' deal. Easily a $400.00 scope/rings if I wanted to sell it....Which I don't as it's perfect for the BL.



I like the BLs due to their short lever throw....very fast as lever guns go but not quite as fast a the Marlin Levermatic but not as huge either.

I was watching a YouTube vid this morning about taking new shooters to the range.
I dont know what brand it was but it was a .22 lever action and I was surprised at the short throw of the action.
Of course it being a .22 it doesnt need much.
