The actual rejection of the Obama Administration new policies itself likely ebbed-- a slightly different take from House Minority Leader Pelosi's assessment--in 2014.

The big turn-away from the New Administration may have happened in 2010. That was a 40+% turnout, compared to a 36.6 % turnout this time out. Even in California, where it didn't matter much, lower turnouts generally mean fewer Democrats. There was no rejection of the Obama Administration along the West Coast. California, and West Coast, Democrats worn. Democrats are the majority party in California, and nationwide. Socialists are actually the most minority party--though in one state, they have been able to elect a Senator(?)! The Republican Party still does not hold that office. The Republicans probably do not support the lesser minority party, and no one would say they do. The Republicans do not support the low voter turnout, increase of Minimum Wages, and no one would say they do. There are too many other issues like that.

Midterm Turnout Decreased in All but 12 States - US News

So no policy rejection, or new rejection, of Obama-Biden would be easily said to characterize the turnout. Since the lower turnout was likely at the expense of the Democrats, then there is mostly stronger evidence for widespread support of the Obama-Biden Administration. Widely noted is that Five States actually accepted the Obama-Biden concept of an increase of Minimum Wage. That is a clean, pure, and complete rejection of Business Unfriendly, Obstructionist, McConnell, Boehner, GOP. The Republicans are not liked, and neither are their Obstructionist tactics, including on matters such as Immigration Reform. Now they get a pipeline, in the middle of a possible glut of oil. That damage to that industry could surface because of them, depending on the successes of alternative fuels. Cheap Oil forever is Oil State friendly(?)!

The Koch Brothers would have made better sense actually raising wages, maybe in their own industries, or maybe collaborating with Buffet and Bill Gates in matters such as Malaria Eradication. President Obama, Vice President Biden, Representative Pelosi, and likely Senator Reid could have been on board!

The good news here is that only 36% disagree with Obama policies while almost all Americans have benefited from them.

Thank you, Mr. President.

That is pure unmitigated bullshit.

The other 64% of voters who stayed home said "We stayed home because fuck you, that's why."

In all seriousness, that low turnout was a rejection of Obama and Biden's policies. Have fun spinning that one.

if you had any brains at all you would have known that the low voter turn out is because people are disgusted with the government as a whole

Most Exit polls found about 70% apprehension with the current state of the economy. Wages will likely be increasing soon, since more people are employed, and fewer turn out for any new jobs. More money for wages will help.

That is free market, labor economics--opposed by GOP. Unions will try to promote the free market, every TeaPee Party GOP will oppose the market economy, raising wages.

In five states, the people chose to promote a buffer against the Tea Party GOP--no other dissent allowed by Boehner, McConnell, Ted Cruz and anti-Libertarian Rand Paul. Increase of Minimum Wages is not agenda One, Day One, in the new House and Senate, 2015. The people chose support of increase of Democrat, Liberal, Minimum Wage. All the other states can see the GOP opposition, starting Day One, Agenda One, where it is not priority--or anytime in the next two years. Everyone sees that White America, of GOP, is not supported by GOP.

"Crow, James Crow: Shaken, Not Stirred!"
(All households in USA of White Eyes--as many as are left--see what GOP will not accept from White Eyes, even in America! Real White People support Minimum Wage increase! GOP not supportive of real White People!)

Well, it would seem the GOP are less disgusted with the government...but wait...they hate Obama (yes, I know...because he's black).

Or are those of you who supported our High Visibility Affirmative Action Failure more depressed than others.

I can understand that...but we tried to tell you.

Your President Mascale, his policies and last but not least the Democrat party as a whole got their freaking asses nuked into another galaxy.

What's funnier than all get out is that Gallup has Obama with a lower approval rating than the GOP Congress.

AND even worse for you left wing whackos the American people want Obama to back off and play second fiddle to the GOP.

"A new Gallup poll shows that the majority of Americans don't want President Barack Obama calling all the shots anymore.

Americans say by a large margin that they'd rather Obama back off and let Republicans take the lead in the new Congress than the other way around.

The poll supports Republican claims that last week's midterm elections were in fact a referendum on the president - an assessment the White House has forcibly denied".

If the dumbass liberal policies were good for the country voters would have turned out in a wave sweeping Dem's to power. That the exact opposite happened means the country has had enough of their damn LIES!! I told you so libs, eat it!

The spin on the Democrat drubbing just gets better and better. Sure, it must be difficult for some to see the last vestige of hope & change unravel, but absurdity is not going to revive it.

Republicans For The Shutdown Of The Government Again, have already lost, post-midterms. Cantor is gone. The GOP leader from California is more accustomed to the liberal, Blue State Agenda. The concept of "Swing Districts" is back into fashion in the Republican Party. The Tea Party is a fading influence, for the moment: Especially with more Republicans in the House.

Boehner inherits new opportunity as head of robust GOP House majority - LA Times

Effectively, the GOP House leadership is in a quandary regarding how to proceed. It is not known at the leadership levels just how Conservative, Moderate, or Liberal the new House will be, nor which factions will align with one another.

The other House Leader, of the GOP, is from Oregon--where "Inhale 'em If You've Got 'em" is different from how that is understood in Ohio.

The anti-family agenda GOP--opposed to abortions, opposed to stem cell research, opposed to health insurance, opposed to doctors treating patients overseas, and opposed to subsidized household spending freely in the stores--even so far, has yet to surface.

The Republicans gamed the rules, wherein the Senate is supposed to favor the moral rural, less densely populated areas. The rest of the election is about the Swing Districts. A diminishing part is about the created, Tea Party only, GOP districts, of a few years ago.

WOW!!! Get help[ soon, what total BS ,Is this the logic all the left uses,or just a single nut case.
Total ass kicking, yet still won, only in make believe world.

Obama and all his crew were SOUNDLY REJECTED only a complete idiot could or would say anything different.

Holy smokes, unfrigginbelievable

people in the Obot cult are not living in reality

that is scary stuff

Basic turd, Cantor was the first to go. Bachmann got out in the nick of time. The voter turnout diminished. The Obama-Biden level initiatives on decriminalization and Minimum Wage, all passed.

The Republican Brand was soundly rejected.

You cannot claim success when you even lose your shirt! You cannot say that the Republicans actually lost any of their bras, sombreros, lava lavas, rickshaws, or hoodies. Anyone will note that particular outcome. Winning all the people who do, did not happen. That is well over half the electorate.

So for two more years, there are a lot of white males in the legislatures. Anyone might say that the claim of Stephanie poster is easily based in bigotry. The claim of chickenwing poster is easily based in bigotry. The claim of meathead poster is easily based in bigotry. The UK Daily Mail mainly uses Fox News as source material, about the United States.

One of the Miami newspapers described the election results as largely Southern, likely White and Rural. Then it went on, about the anti-ObamaCare phenomenon:
______________________________

Most southern states have poverty rates higher than the national average and stand to lose disproportionately to states such as New York and California by forgoing Medicaid dollars. The southern states are home to 80 percent of the 4.8 million Americans locked out of the Medicaid expansion by their governors and legislatures, with Florida accounting for more than 760,000 of the uninsured who earn too much to qualify for traditional Medicaid but too little to qualify for Obamacare’s health-insurance subsidies.
Yet these states voters — well, 40 percent of them — are affirmatively choosing to do nothing about it, based on their ideological opposition to Obama.

Read more here: Low turnouts dire consequences The Miami Herald

Noted in an earlier post, the GOP House Leadership is neither Southern, nor in states further impoverishing the poor. . .which are Southern. Rural blacks do live in the South. Soon enough, others may notice what they are up to, now.

California is not anti-ObamaCare, where a House GOP leader comes from. One comes from Oregon, and Boehner comes from Ohio. The political stomach for suggesting to their own constituents that they are anti-American, because they accept ObamaCare money: Likely does not exist, going way forward.

States on board don't need the aggravation of "Repeal and Replace." Three of the GOP main leaders come from states currently on board.

"Crow, James Crow: Shaken, Not Stirred!"
(Many even in Kansas, not entirely on board with "Shake, Rattle, and Roll," at least for now!)

So anyone can see an outcome of the 2014 Midterms as GOP telling GOP obstructionists that they are no longer viable in the Republican Party.

The Winning Party, in the House, actually went ahead and changed its leadership!

The Losing Party, in both The House and Senate, actually went ahead and kept its leadership!
