It's a dark beer. 9% alcohol. Kinda hoppy at first. It's aged in old rum barrels.

The brewmaster was here in KC at some of the nicer pubs promoting it. The first couple sips are a bit stout but as the beer warms it gets WAY BETTER.

It's a limited peoduction beer so if you get a chance tey it! The KC market only got six kegs.

Fantastic beer

Tried something like it a few months ago. Can't remember the name. Made in a micro brewery in Knoxville, Iowa. Made in oak barrels they get from templeton rye distillery in templeton, Iowa.

Very good beer and it did sell out fast.

Btw. If you like rye, Templeton is fantastic but not available many places.
