That's kinda what the road I live on looks like. It's why I got a MINI Cooper.

It would be cool. Imagine driving 10 miles to get to a place 2 miles away.
Of course we have a few fun roads here in the US too. Like this one; US 129 from Maryville KY to Deals Gap NC.

That's Maryville Tennessee actually.

Fair warning -- westbound, depending on where you're going the Dragon can take you right into Benton, which is a blatant speed trap town. It appears to be their only industry.
 
You are right. It is TN. I rode it 3 times; twice headed south and once headed north. On day 2, I rode it loaded, maybe 300 pounds of gear and guns. I got down to about Asherville and headed west to Chattenoga and I 75. That day was Marryville to Miami, then home to Coconut Creek. I headed to Miami and then back north so I could finish up at 1,000.4 miles for the day.
