American farmer: Trump 'took away all of our markets'

The White House recently announced that it would be providing an additional $16 billion in aid to American farmers affected by the trade war between the U.S. and China.

But the problem for American farmers has becomes bigger than something a bailout can fix.

“This trade thing is what’s brought on by the president and it’s really frustrating because he took away all of our markets,” Bob Nuylen, a farmer from North Dakota who grows spring wheat and sunflowers, told Yahoo Finance. “We live in an area where we’re kind of in the middle of nowhere. It costs us a lot of money — over $1 a bushel to get our grain to markets.”

“All these countries went to different countries to get their grain,” Nuylen said. “How are we going to get the relations back with them to buy our grain again and be our customers?”

“Our prices are probably as low as I’ve seen them in a long time,” he told Yahoo Finance. “We were losing just about $70 an acre just by putting our crop in [the ground] this spring.”

Don't worry-its covered.

Gluten-free people crying over the wheat farmers should buy a loaf of bread once in awhile.

Farmers should learn to take care of themselves rather than always having their hands out for a handout.

Your icon is AOC. You are therefore not qualified to assess economic comprehension.

So basically farm biz is being subsidized by government, who saw fit to impose themselves as a liaison via foreign policy to help them out

yup....righto.....we're from the gub'mit, and here to help

You idiot. They were taking care of themselves until Trump killed their market. Trump is throwing a lot of money at them trying to make up for what they were doing for themselves, but it isn't enough. Do you like taxpayers paying so much to make up for Trump's stupid mistake?

And hog farmers are happy as hell selling all they can to China

Is this statement false:

Where does China get its pork?
The main source of imported pork to China is the European Union, led by Germany and Spain. In total, China brings in about two-thirds of its pork imports from the E.U. At most, the entire U.S. pork industry has accounted for as much as 1 percent of China’s pork consumption in any year.

The really funny thing is the farmers invested to develop their markets then Individual1 took the markets away with a couple of tweets. That is hilarious.

Pres.Trump better stop falling for these lies. These countries are afraid to buy chemical treated Wheat. Which now Roundup weed killer is found to be a cancer causing agent. That most countries are most likely are not purchasing U.S. wheat. Monsanto/Soros controls the majority of U.S. farmlands. And now they are trying to put the blame on the trade war, so that they can collect some money from tax payers poisonous wheat. They will not go organic, because that would mess up their profits on weed killer. So they are going to keep on spraying while they have tax paying fools that will bail them out every year.
Pres.Trump has many of Monsanto's shills that is in his administration that is manipulating information. The Globalist are making sure that they are still in control of the White House. They control the majority of judges and politicians.

Tough love. Still, what hurts American farmers must help ours...

“Payments are a welcome help for the bottom line of Missouri farmers,” Blake Hurst, president of the Missouri Farm Bureau, told Yahoo Finance in an email statement. “Although the trade payments vary widely from county to county, they’ll keep more than a few farmers in business for another year. ...

“Having said all that,” the statement added, “farmers are profoundly wary of the trade war, embarrassed that ad hoc government subsidies are all that stands between many of us and financial ruin, and ready for the return of more normal times.”
