'An Amateur Person' GOP Rep. Bacon Says Hegseth Must Go.

I'm assuming Rep Bacon voted to confirm him which means Rep Bacon probably needs to go also as someone that would confirm someone so completely unqualified.

Rep. Don Bacon, a prominent Republican on the House Armed Services Committee, became the first sitting GOP lawmaker Monday to suggest President Donald Trump should fire Pete Hegseth — calling the chaos at the Pentagon one reason why many Hill Republicans were privately uneasy with the Defense secretary’s nomination in the first place.

Hegseth has proven himself incapable for his position. He invited both his wife and his brother on to a classified chat AFTER he had invited a reporter from Vanity Fair on another classified chat. He zero experience with communications security. Both Russia AND China monitor chat he used. He has compromised U.S. Security and must step down.
“It looks like there’s a meltdown going on,” Bacon said. “There’s a lot — a lot — of smoke coming out of the Pentagon, and I got to believe there’s some fire there somewhere”

“smoke but no fire?”

The usual “unnamed sources” from the usual lib media liars?

One thing we know about Hegseth is that there is no love lost between him and the Pentagon

He’s shaking things up and making a lot of enemies

Whatever you gotta tell yourself to cope.

Good is going to come out of this 2nd Trump Admniistration yet.

A lesson that America will never ever repeat again.
When Progs stole the 2020 election, they thought that people who want freedoms were stymied. Trump willed himself to the Presidency. And Progressives provided the reasons. Progs purposely caused the inflation. No other Republican candidate may have won in 2024. Even with a Progressive candidate for President the worst in American history.

Good for Bacon. Late to the dance is better than not attending at all, pknopp.

In a rare moment of disunity among House Republicans, Politico reports GOP Rep. Bacon (R-Neb.) advised President Donald Trump to fire U.S. Sec. of Defense Pete Hegseth, saying the resulting chain of chaos is why Republicans were leery of approving him in the first place.

“If it’s true that he had another [Signal] chat with his family, about the missions against the Houthis, it’s totally unacceptable,” said Bacon, a lead Republican on the House Armed Services Committee. “I’m not in the White House, and I’m not going to tell the White House how to manage this … but I find it unacceptable, and I wouldn’t tolerate it if I was in charge

If a Dem DOD did that, he would have to go.
Oh, those poor Dems. They are such noble, persecuted, honest victims.

There's positive value to be had by keeping Pete on!
Even though the Pentagon could take extraordinary measures to remove him. They're not big on free speech!

GOP Rep. Bacon (R-Isr.)

fify. That worm cares as much about the people of Nebraska as Lord Balfour did about the people of England.

They are both Old Testament Christians--i.e., insane and evil.
On ignore. I have no time for goofies like you or crazy Christians like them.

Oh, he's gone.

tRump said he "supports him 100%", and you know what that means.
