For someone who's chastized others so much in this thread, you're being really naive here. No doubt, some will still support him, but you honestly think there will be no "shame" associated with Jackson? The majority of people thought of him as a kid-toucher BEFORE this trial, I doubt their minds have been changed very much.
A matter-of-fact, the more I think about this, the more I would be willing to wager that good 'ole Steve has his hands in these not guilty verdicts.
I'd be inclined to agree with you on this one. Money can buy you anything. Rich people hardly ever go to jail, no matter where they're being tried.
In this respect, Pale Rider, I think you're wrong about Californians not wanting to convict one of their own. Certainly, in LA, this is probably true, but I don't think all of CA should be held responsible, California is HUGE!
