For someone who's chastized others so much in this thread, you're being really naive here. No doubt, some will still support him, but you honestly think there will be no "shame" associated with Jackson? The majority of people thought of him as a kid-toucher BEFORE this trial, I doubt their minds have been changed very much.

A matter-of-fact, the more I think about this, the more I would be willing to wager that good 'ole Steve has his hands in these not guilty verdicts.

I'd be inclined to agree with you on this one. Money can buy you anything. Rich people hardly ever go to jail, no matter where they're being tried.

In this respect, Pale Rider, I think you're wrong about Californians not wanting to convict one of their own. Certainly, in LA, this is probably true, but I don't think all of CA should be held responsible, California is HUGE!

That little ramble made no sense at all. And BTW, God does not judge us while we are here on Earth as he has left that to man to decide. However, I am confident God will dispense the proper judgement once Michael's time comes and he stands before God.

You may be very good in business management...however my career was based in law enforcement and spent many hours in court prosecuting cases...
you are the one grasping for straws...the main witness and his mother had a "History" of false statements on law suits...what part of my opinion do you not understand...again I do not like Michael as a person or his music...that does not take away from my opinion of court procedure...geez!

It's a travesty of the justice system Dan. You or I would have been found guilty, but the ultra rich celebrities walk! Yeah... that pisses me off to no end.

My main point was that there are three or four threads on this page alone about how Michael should go to jail. However, the average sex offender doesn't get nearly the press that Michael has. I wasn't talking just about the people on this board, but about society in general.

You insinuated that there was clear and proved false testimony in this case. If you had stated that the mother had made false statements in other cases I would have agreed. If you had read through my threads, you would also agree that I pointed out numerous times that the defense did an exceptional job of making this case about the victims mother and not Michael. Michael has a history of paying off families in regards to molestation too. They should have equaled each other out in my opinion. But then again, if I recall, the details of the payoff was not admissible yet the mother's past behavior was... hmmmm.... I wonder if celebrity had anything to do with that....

You obviously don't know much about Vegas. Steve Wynn can now book Michael and if anybody says anything, he can say, "I have no shame, he was found innocent in a court of law". That was what I meant by "no shame".

Oh, I see. That's true. From what I've heard about Vegas, much of their attractions are kind of kitschy, novelty-only acts, anyway. But, I honestly have no basis for that assumption other than that's sort of the general opinion of Vegas from people thousands of miles away from it. Is that how it is, or am I wrong? I know Celine Dion's really packing them in out there, and she's not really a novelty or anything.

However you did...I was not in court or in the defendents bedroom...neither were you...the jury had full access to all witness testimony and evidence...I based my opinion...opinion only... on previous experience in a court of law and the rules of evidence....too assume just makes a "ass"out of "u" and "me"...
get the picture...don't tell me you are a certified judge or attorney now...I certainly am not...but I do believe I have a little more experience in the rules of evidence then you do...I base my opinions on facts and evidence...not on emotion....as (evidently) did the 12 jurists. And please quit with the "celebrity" insinuation....a jury of twelve found him innocent....not me! or for that matter you! :cof:

As for his carreer being over, never happen , ppl (not all) but enough will forget & pay to see him again, hell they were already talking of the movie deals , books & so on.
As for the pervert he was so weak & sickly all threw this but as soon as he got to his pervert hotel he was able to jump from the ground to the top of a suv to raise his hands in victory
