The main reason for the govt using Guantanamo, was so they could hold enemy combatants/terrorists there, without all of their due process rights that they would have gotten if they imprisoned them inside the USA.... ACLU or the likes, sued them anyway, but I don't remember how that all turned out?

And due process is determined by the status of the individual. If they’re here illegally and cannot prove they qualify for asylum - which the majority do not - than they have gotten their due process, and get deported.

Yep, they get a COURT HEARING to prove their cause, if denied, they get deported back to their country...

Without a hearing, they have no way to prove it... That hearing is their due process.


Our main problem is not funding the Immigration courts to the level they need to take care of the years and years of backlog. We need to do so, asap....with a 'Going to the Moon' effort.

We want criminals to face due justice for their wrong or harm to others in court...ICE should not ever disturb the courts or court house imo.....find another place to make their Perp walk scene....and capture him....imo.

Court houses are where justice takes place in our Nation, in an orderly, safe, manner....making them in to a chaotic, reality show scene, is not appropriate or welcomed.

Illegals don’t need to be “convicted” of anything. They are guilty of unlawful presence - and unless they have proof to the contrary, out they go.
