Are Biden's issuance of presidential pardons going too far?

States are gonna have to start getting their acts together and fighting these corrupt, treasonous federalists much, much harder when they initially try to dish out their tyranny.

Basically Tater just set a precedent which effectively nullified the Constitution in that the government can do anything it wants to you without any care or fear whatsoever about being held accountable for it.

Prove me wrong.
No. That precedent is the presidential immunity decision from SCOTUS.

No idea what you’re talking about.

You’ve seen the MAGA crazies on this board saying that Fauci is a mass murderer. That’s some crazy shit.
He funded a virus that killed millions, Moroner.

Sounds pretty massive to me.

Yeah, that’s the crazy shit I’m talking about. Thank god Biden pardoned him to defend from the psychopaths like yourself.
Fauci now admits many of his bogus claims from early on. He present Little evidence of Any Truth telling

Fauci always erred on the side of protecting people. I’ll take that over the casual disregard for life that the right expressed. Trump admitted to downplaying it. He was more worried about himself than the lives of others.

No that would be the blanket pardons for family members and admin officials for actual crimes.
NO, IF we elected Any one from any party WE should not be dishonest,
and ONLY point out things we believe done wrong by ONE PARTY and not cover up for those we like.
SO what do you understand or think about Trumps choices for pardons?

He didn’t issue blanket pardons to his family or admin

Now he pardoned Fauci and Milley. Pardoned from what? When have these people ever been convicted and sentenced for any crimes?

Biden pardons Fauci and Milley in an effort to guard against potential ‘revenge’ by Trump

"WASHINGTON (AP) — President Joe Biden has pardoned Dr. Anthony Fauci, retired Gen. Mark Milley and members of the House committee that investigated the Jan. 6 attack on the Capitol, using the extraordinary powers of his office in his final hours to guard against potential “revenge” by the incoming Trump administration.

The decision by Biden comes after Donald Trump warned of an enemies list filled with those who have crossed him politically or sought to hold him accountable for his attempt to overturn his 2020 election loss and his role in the storming of the U.S. Capitol on Jan. 6, 2021. Trump has selected Cabinet nominees who backed his election lies and who have pledged to punish those involved in efforts to investigate him.

“The issuance of these pardons should not be mistaken as an acknowledgment that any individual engaged in any wrongdoing, nor should acceptance be misconstrued as an admission of guilt for any offense,” Biden said in a statement. “Our nation owes these public servants a debt of gratitude for their tireless commitment to our country.”

It’s customary for a president to grant clemency at the end of his term, but those acts of mercy are usually offered to everyday Americans who have been convicted of crimes. But Biden has used the power in the broadest and most untested way possible: to pardon those who have not even been investigated yet. And with the acceptance comes a tacit admission of guilt or wrongdoing, even though those who have been pardoned have not been formally accused of any crimes."

I saw it as nothing more than political grandstanding that is of no actual force or effect.

Once again, Biden's pardons aren't going to protect anyone from future process crimes, like lying to Congress.
I don't think these guys realize a pardon puts a Target on their ass.... They are now testifying machines required to spit out information upon demand with no fifth amendment protection.
It's really a last gasp effort and that's all it's ever been.
