I never knew Hopper had lived in Paris.

Edward Hopper - the great painter of loneliness - lived in Paris for a short time in Jacques Lacan’s street. He occupied a single room in a widow’s apartment - and he painted this: View Across Interior Courtyard at 48 rue de Lille, 1906

He died today in New York in 1967. Vale.
