Presidents need to respect the law, if the courts tell you that you can’t deport under the Aliens Enemies Act, then you appeal, go to Congress and figure it out. It is the same position I held with the student loan forgiveness, he was told no because he did not have the power, leftwing ideologues were upset but it was an abuse of Presidential powers.
