Avoiding American products

I see what you're saying. You're saying that you weren't buying nuts from America before and now you are going to boycott nuts from America.
I used to buy nuts from Morrisons (UK supermarket), mainly for cooking. Then they changed, lack of flavour. So when I checked the packaging, it states Produce of USA. So I stopped buying them. In fact, I said this months ago on the forum, wat before the tariff debacle. So I don't boycott US nuts based on tariffs, I avoid them because they're shite. Simple as.

So I've been avoiding American nuts since August 2024.

The UK imports from the US $92.69bn -

The US imports from the UK $68.83 -

Yes, we can do without US imports.
Who's we?...

How many £billions are made in the UK each year?
Only a fraction of what brits used to make

And so many of the major brands that used to be british are now foreign owned

Jaguar and Rover for instance

The funny thing is with Americans, binary. If you like Biden YOU MUST like everything Biden does. If you like Trump YOU MUST love everything Trump does. If it's Made in USA, YOU MUST like every American product.

What a sad state of affairs.
What Trump is doing is long overdue... we are not your sugar daddy anymore so find a new one...

Nuts are in packets.

After a quick search, you seem to have been in favour and gloated about the Bud Lite boycott. Why the change of tune that more folk in more countries are beginning to boycott American products?
Its that kind of attitude that will hurt you in the end... stop mistreating the USA....

Just a gnat on the wall... we don't need you to buy shit from us.... so boycott all you want...
The reason why I asked is, you Americans just blab hot air that sounds good to you but you have fuck all knowledge what you're on about. You call Freedom of Speech which, "Talk bullshit with no knowledge". Confirmed yet again.

..... You call Freedom of Speech which, "Talk bullshit with no knowledge". Confirmed yet again.
Easy for a peasant from a country with NO constitution to say. The only "rights" you might pretend to have are the ones your masters grant you when it suits them.

You’re basically talking to yourself because nobody here cares. Have your little hissy fit.

The UK buys nearly $30bn more in US product than the US buys off the UK. Your two brain cells says that's mistreating the US.

Ok clown shoes, explain your FUCKING stupidity (what a fucking full blown retard).

Seems to be a growing theme to avoid Made in America products -

Here in the UK, to pass that message on, some people are highlighting which products are Made in the US by going to a product and turning one upside down. Also, news on the "Made In" app is being promoted more, just install and scan barcodes.

I've installed the app the Google Play store and will give it a whirl. Way before the tariff war days, I avoid peanuts, pistachio nuts etc.. from the US because they're tasteless.

On another note, as the US market becomes unreliable, people are ditching US debt, that means the cost of borrowing to the US government is increasing. So if the interest was $1trillion a year, it's set to increase. Probably why DOGE kicked off cos Trump and Musk knew they needed the savings just to tread water.

Theres "Made 'O' Meter" as well if you want to avoid American products.
Dunno, but Snow White seems to have worked pretty well.

The Sun used to never set on the British Empire.

Now, you can't stop the invasion that is going to destroy you in 20 years or so.

So sad to see what the UK has become.

LOL, do you think every American buys every American product? That's rich.
