Cuba was one of the richest countries in Latin America in 1959. Today they are one of the poorest. That I suppose is the Democrat view of "success."

Cuba was one of the richest countries in Latin America in 1959. Today they are one of the poorest. That I suppose is the Democrat view of "success."

Cuba is a success to Democrats because they love equality over Liberty. And the fact all Cubans equally live in slums means it's a great place. Same with their medical system. The fact everyone has difficulty obtaining an aspirin equally means it's a great healthcare system.

No one is out shopping for groceries because there are none in the stores.
Go to some of the luxury stores and watch dozens of very long shiny black cars parked outside.
Watch the 'snow bunnies' wearing full length mink coats and mink hats and mink mittens leave the luxury stores with their driver carrying boxes of luxury food items and wines. Watch the driver put the luxury items in the trunk. What you are witnessing is good old Socialism at it's finest. Visit any Socialist/Communist country in the world and you will see the same thing.
