BREAKING: Byron Donalds to run for House Speaker

Local news is reporting that POS Pete Sessions thinks he’s the man for the job. He believes in nothing, has no appreciable record, and is a reliable vote for the highest bidder.

Hells yea, even better than Jordan. He is real MAGA.

Poor lefties. If they criticize him that makes them racist.

Poor retards. Republicans are in the majority in the House and trying to nominate a House speaker but are scared about what the Dems will do! :auiqs.jpg:

Gad, you retards are fucking useless, aren't you? :itsok:

Byron Donalds is respected by almost all House Republicans and would be a great Speaker in my opinion.
He is a huge pain in the ass to Democrats so he has that advantage.

Third time's the charm?

Or does the game of GOP musical chairs simply perpetuate endlessly and forever?

Don't get me wrong, dude is based as all get out and would be a huge upgrade from McCarthy.

And he's certainly preferable to the hypothetical of allowing Dems to help designate the Speaker.

But will the "moderates" (IE Warmongers/K Street vampires) ever allow this?

If they don't, maybe we should take a page out of the Dem playbook and call them all "RACISTS!" (tm)

Hell, maybe we could even peel off a couple of Democrat votes with that tactic....

NAAAAAAAH ;)
The thing is, it works both ways. Why should over a hundred bend to the will of about 8 people while those 8 people refused to consider a moderate? This stalemate will continue because those 100 people aren't going to be bullied into picking someone to appease 8 people and those 8 people will not bend to the will of the 100. The House is going over the cliff.

You call us communists.

- You call us groomers.

- You vote against our bills, and then try to take credit for them when they pass because they're great.

- You insult our President while he's conducting critical foreign policy.

- You nominate whack-jobs who knew all about January 6th.

- And you want to shut down the government AND you're trying to kill Social Security and Medicare.

But you expect US to bail YOU out?
🤪

Decent question. I'll tell you why.

Those "moderates" who voted against Jordan to be the Speaker because he is "too Republican" or whatever? They don't run as moderates. No sir.

Here is Don "The Baconator" Bacon talking about how controlling spending is "the number one issue." Not having a speaker. Controlling spending.

That was a year ago when he was what? Campaigning.

Here is Vern Buchanan:

Again:

"The out of control spending in Washington is making us less competitive."

Those were 13 years ago. Has spending been reduced since then so that spending is not such an important issue? Or has Buchanan always sang the song, but never done the dance?

Here's Ken Buck railing against wasteful government spending:

"Cut up your credit cards."

Tony Gonzalez decries the inflationary effect of increased government spending.

Sorry mate, I disagree.

The "moderates" are all appropriators, warmongers and special interest stooges.

Some of them even saw their fast track to the upper echelons of leadership threatened with the prospect of a Jordan speakership.

You can take issue with Gaetz all you like, and I'll even concede he's a bit of a showboat.

But the "chaos" we are now witnessing is a MAGA uprising within the GOP attempting to conquer the last vestiges of the corrupt Cheney/Romney Uniparty lackeys.

And there is no equivocation there.

And this is right on the money (with brevity):
