Poor Trump. Mean old Clinton-appointed judges wont let him keep asylum seekers locked up indefinitely. Added to Bush-appointed Justice Roberts who tipped the scale against the citizenship question on the 2020 census, this is enough to make you scared Trump may not get to be King Donald I.

They first have to be charged with a crime. Which then means they are appointed counsel.

Then the prosecutor has to prove they are a flight risk, which will be hard to do since they willingly gave themselves to authorities seeking asylum. Which according to US law, and the Geneva convention, is not a crime.

Which brings us back to the judges ruling.
