I'll go so far as to say that in THIS case, Joe is still the acting active president in office running the country whereas Trump was out of office nearly two years when his raid occurred.

However, they didn't have to wait until Trump was out of state in NYC to do it. They really hoped to catch Trump with something by surprise whereas here, they are giving Joe every chance to duck out of this as clean as possible.

A new search of President Joe Biden’s home in Wilmington, Delaware, by Department of Justice authorities that lasted more than 12 hours Friday found six more documents marked classified, the president’s personal lawyer said in a statement Saturday evening.
Some of the classified documents and “surrounding materials” dated from Biden’s tenure in the Senate, where he represented Delaware from 1973 to 2009, according to his lawyer, Bob Bauer.
And “some of” the documents” were from his tenure as vice president in the Obama administration, from 2009 through 2017, Bauer said.
DOJ also took some notes that Biden had personally handwritten as vice president, according to the lawyer.

Once again, the DOJ made no announcement nor was there any public spectacle. There are no photos of the documents splayed out to spread around news agencies like with Trump. No press were on site watching the Biden home waiting for authorities to show up. No, they did the search quietly and said nothing until Biden’s lawyer made a statement on his own terms a day later. A weekend news item for minimum exposure.

Come on now and be realistic. No president needs to rubber stamp a document or get a receipt making it official that he has declassified something unless it is going into the hands of someone other than himself after leaving office.

Since Trump obviously took whatever he had while still IN office, he had the authority then to classify anything any way he wanted. You're just being bitter now because once again, Joe has royally F@#ked up yet again doing everything claimed of Trump only much worse to the total embarrassment of the entire leftwing and democrat party because it makes it rather hard to criticize or prosecute Trump for things now when Joe is shuffling around doing far more to a much greater degree.

Whenever classified documents are found from this day forward, at any location in the world, we can just assume Joe Biden carelessly left them there. And he has no regrets.
From this day onward, foreign spies will require any classified documents they buy from traitors to the USA be delivered in a vintage Corvette as a token of authenticity.
