Hepworth in West Sussex replaces boiler with prototype generating 130C steam that could cut fuel costs by 40%.

This is great news. Any business would want to cut its costs 40%.
Gteen tech is getting sharper and more effective all the time. Something for the fossil fuel luddites to ponder as they clear up from Helene.

Andy Hepworth, the founder and chairman of Hepworth Brewery, said the government-backed project
Subsidized businesses and projects are loser projects. If your product is good enough, then you hardly need gov backing. Gov backs crap that no one wants.

Heat pumps are great because they jump into the entropy levels of the available ambient energy.
However...while it may cut fuel costs the electric bill is going to go large. It may work out to be less expensive....The carbon balance depends on where you get the electricity from.
