I think the threat of Zombies and having to hack through rainforests has died down, so obviously the government thinks they're no longer required.

We used to mess on with large hunting/fishing and throwing knives as kids, etch your name into trees, but on the whole, they're pretty pointless. After Googling what a zombie knife is, just the hunting/fishing style of knife with weird shapes influenced by zombie films. World War Z was good.

But we live in nanny times. We wandered about with air rifles and air pistols, catapults, had big bonfires in November, bought fireworks with our pocket money. In fact, the big bangers were 5 times more powerful back then. What we did as kids, the kids of today do but on phones and tablets instead. The only time I knifed and shot a zombie was on Call of Duty.
