The president of El Salvador is currently enjoying a 90% approval rating in his own country. And that is according to non-bass sources. You could even see it on Wikipedia. He is the most popular leader of our time. He is loved by not only the people of El Salvador, but Latin Americans.

Now back in the day, the left-wing used to champion independence for Central and South America. They wanted them to take hold of their own countries. So that is actually what is happening in El Salvador. El Salvador was a country that was previously plagued by horrible violence that was a dangerous place to go. But since Bukele gained power, El Salvador has become a much more safer place. And it’s standard of living is improving.

But if you ask the radical left, they will say it is a hellhole country with a Nazi leader. Well how are you supposed to treat vicious gang leaders, and gang members who sell poison drugs, to children? Who run rackets, who use violence and intimidation against small business owners. How do you deal with those people?

Obviously, there is a level of authoritarianism associated with El Salvador. But nothing like a dictatorship country like North Korea. I mean, something has to be done. They needed a radical change to confront the violence and the systemic problems in the country. And by all metrics, they are currently headed in the right direction. So what does the American left-wing want for El Salvador???? they want the country to become train wrecked again they want the government there to be overthrown?

Oh so according to the radical left, El Salvador should just give a free pass to their criminals right????. Give them a slap on the wrist like we do in some of the large cities in America. Nope that is not what is happening in El Salvador and the Latin American people stand by Bukele for cleaning up the streets.

the reporter who went and talked to the people to see what they think....he said just about everybody said...we can go out and not be afraid to now....one guy said we are not afraid of bukele but were terrified of the gangs...he has made our live much better...his country went from a level 4 travel advisory which means DO NOT TRAVEL TO a level one which is very safe to visit in 4 years crime has gone down 90%....a politician who actually did something about crime...rare in this country...

Bukele is a Palestinian. So you would think the Dems here would be backing him up.

They just hate this particular Palestinian because he does not support anti-American terrorists.

The thing I like about this thread is all the links to the assertions. One can see the previous posters know exactly what they're talking about.

An elaborately constructed straw man argument.

From Wikipedia;

True his paternal grandparents were Palestinian Christians.

Today’s American left is weird.

Posts #8 and #9…. 🤣🤣🤣
Yup nonstop entertainment from these folks. I’m just so glad that Trump is in power and for the case of El Salvador. They got a great president. And their country is headed in the right direction. Was nice to see two heads of state with common sense at the White House recently…

———"Despite the restrictions, the improvements in security have contributed to Bukele's extremely high popularity. For years, many Salvadorans lived in fear of the gangs that controlled swaths of the country, extorting, killing and forcibly recruiting.

In 2015, El Salvador had 6,656 homicides, making it one of the world's deadliest countries. In 2023, there were 214 homicides. "——-

El Salvador closes 2024 with a record low number of homicides

Imagine if this guy Bukele was governor of California. Man, we could use a politician like that.

Hell yeah ,
