Any such move can be countered by other large producers reducing production to match the dump. For the US to be able to control oil prices on domestic productiona nd consumption would require at best legislation, at worst nationalization of the il industry.

We can't discuss global prices for a simple reason. They vary in extreme prices to the market.
I think you admit Biden chopped production when he was first in the office he uses. It was a priority by him as he promised voters he would end oil production in effect. He would change the market to only Electric he promised.
