Congress skimped on the wall. 1.5 billion? that's pathetic

Your Russian News Source got it wrong. It's less than 1.4 billion and that is all that is required by law to offer.

Here we go again. Each President (Bush Jr. and Obama) did an average of 73 miles of wall/barrier every year since the 2006 Border Security Law was passed and it allowed 1.3 billion per year for those purposes. That means that there was 733 miles of wall/Barrier already built before Trump took office. Trump was allocated 2.6 billion for the last 2 years by law for that purpose. Now, keep that in mind.

So Trump goes into his tirade about "Build more Walls". Okay, fine. Afterall, it's been budgeted. Except, he didn't build one inch of new additional wall/barrier and did very little rebuilding areas that badly need to be either upgraded or replaced. The money was allocated and not spent. Had he built the 73 miles per year like the other two did he would have added a total of 146 miles of the 200 miles he demands need to be built and funded. That leaves a total of 54 miles of that 200 miles that would have been automatically funded and built this year.

He didn't follow the law and build that 146 miles of wall and he says there is a National Emergency. I agree, there is a National Emergency. It's called Trump. He has the funds to build that 146 miles in the coffers already. The 1.4 billion is for an additional 55 miles that will run the figure to over the 200 miles that he demands we fund. Most of that 200 is already funded. The National Emergency is Trump selling about the dumbest argument I have ever heard to a bunch of Carnival Country Rubes. Hate to break your bubble but the Bearded woman is a woman that shaved every day until she could grow a beard and it's a natural thing. And the Yeti was a very large actor that also subbed for other acts in the Circus. Santa Claus not coming is more of an emergency than the"Wall". At least children grow out of that.
