…or, warnings of imminent doom by “scientists’ have never proven true. They all stem from politics, either to gain control over the populace, or to gain recognition for one’s career. True story.
1.Today seems an appropriate jump-off for the theme as February 13th, 1766 was the birth date of Thomas Malthus. This early member of the hand-wringers club Malthus originated the view that the food production of the world would increase arithmetically (1-2-3-…), while the human population would increase geometrically (1-2-4-8…). Conclusion: mass starvation and epidemics. Sounds ‘environmental’ already, doesn’t it?
It's a theme.....too many human beings for the environmentalists.
2. I suppose we should include all the (other) pagans who practiced all sorts of machinations including human sacrifice tp propitiate the gods, and save the tribe; killing off folks never been a big deal to pagans and communists.....or is that redundant.
3.And of course, much of environmentalism is paganism, even today where the current fools want us to protect Gaia, Mother Earth….and you can read about the loons vowing not to have children to protect the earth and reduce their carbon footprint.
4.That communist creation, the United Nations….yes, created by Jos. Stalin, so this should be no shock: “A high-ranking member of the U.N.’s Panel on Climate Change admits the group’s primary goal is the redistribution of wealth and not environmental protection or saving the Earth.” More on the IPCC’s Admission that Climate Change Is Really an Excuse for Redistributing Wealth | National Review
5. One of the dopiest ideas in the environmental movement is that the earth can support 7 billion humans. Another of the false doctrines of the Left.
. "The entire world population could fit in the state of Texas and it’d only have the population density of New York City!
There are 6.8 billion people on Earth. Calculations show that if we wanted to make everyone in Earth live on a space that had the same population density as New York City, we could fit everyone in about 666,265 square kilometers, which is less than the size of Texas!.
Not only does that leave the other 49 United States open, but it leaves all the other countries clear and open, too. So, it is pretty safe to say that we have enough space, the entire world except Texas, to farm and ranch for our food supply.
Soooo…..Happy Birthday, to Thomas Malthus……we’re still here!
