However, what he and many others overlook is that criticism of Israel has sparked and fueled antisemitism on college campuses and towns and cities across the country.

The line of distinction between the actions of the Israeli state and Jewish people around the world has become hopelessly blurred to the point of being invisible. I can’t help but think that this is exactly what many want.

Irrelevant. I haven’t said a word about the politics of the situation except to say that criticism of the Israeli state has morphed into antisemitism for many. Besides, did I not just say that criticism of the Israeli state is okay?

I don’t give a dry turd about the politics. I’m addressing antisemitism. Criticism of Israel and antisemitism are two different things. But some seem to think they are one and the same. In that respect, they are the ones conflating the issue, not me.
