Could Teaparty Split on Boehner end up Re-Electing Pelosi?

Hate to spoil the liberal's wet dream but Pelosi ain't a gonna be elected Speaker.
If they split their votes, and Democrats all vote for Pelosi, it could happen!

Some commentary about the wingnuts and teabaggers from Wingnut Central:

How 59 Republicans can show Boehner the door

This is usually the very first order of business. It will happen on Jan. 6, 2015. Not a lot of time to rally the Boehner opposition.

Nevertheless, in a perfect world, it could happen, and here’s how:

In the new 114th Congress, the House of Representatives will be comprised of 247 Republicans and 188 Democrats.

All 188 Democrats will vote for Nancy Pelosi, which means that Boehner must get at least 189 Republican votes to win because the speaker must get a majority of all votes cast, not a majority of the 435 members of the House. If Boehner fails to get a majority, balloting will continue until members coalesce behind someone else.

Therefore, if just 59 Republicans were to vote “present” instead of casting their vote for Boehner, Pelosi would be elected speaker if none of those who voted “present” amend their votes.

A Republican will be the acting chairman for this election. During the roll call, if 59 Republicans simply answer “present,” the chairman will temporarily suspend the vote. At that point the deal-making would begin. Conservatives, who were not even consulted on the “cromnibus” bill, would then be in the driver’s seat. Boehner would have to agree to step down in favor of a replacement. If not, he would hand the speakership to Pelosi.
Gohmert will make a fine speaker. Pelosi would be worse than a dose of clap.
Pelosi is a dose of clap.

What?

You are being a kook.

If there is one monkey, one man and 10 bananas, what would happen if the man ate more bananas than the monkey?

Quiet you.

The Libs seem to be in lockstep with the Tea Party.

An E-mail I just received from the TP.

Dear Patriot,

In direct response to the President's illegal actions on Obamacare and amnesty, Americans took a stand by electing conservatives to Congress in a truly historic, landslide victory. Thanks to your efforts, dozens of defeated Obama allies just cleaned out their Washington, D.C. offices.

Now, the hard work begins. The establishment elites in both parties are furious that Congress now has a record number of constitutional conservatives in the U.S. House. These establishment types are ready to go to war with the Tea Party and continue shredding the Constitution, while propping up special interest groups and crony capitalism.

House Speaker John Boehner fired the first shot, by supporting the shameful CRomnibus, which fully funds the Obama agenda, including President Obama's unilateral executive amnesty. The CRomnibus was passed in the dark of night before Members could read it, and it required Democrat votes to pass. This explains why a whopping 60% of Republicans who voted in the last election understand that Boehner represents the status quo, and they want him removed as Speaker.

These polling numbers are devastating for Boehner, but he didn't have anyone willing to challenge him.

Until now!

Two courageous patriots, Rep. Ted Yoho (R-FL) and Rep. Louie Gohmert (R-TX), are risking their political careers to run for Speaker to protest the Boehner machine. And they deserve our support!

To voice your support for either Yoho or Gohmert, please contact your U.S. Representative and demand a vote for one of them. Please remind your Representative that every vote for any living person other than John Boehner – whether for Rep. Yoho, or for Rep. Gohmert, or for anyone else, for that matter – helps us achieve the goal of ending the establishment's reign in DC.

If your Representative in Congress is a Republican, please let him or her hear from you tomorrow. You can reach him or her by calling 1 (855) 398-4323, tell them to vote for either Rep. Yoho or Rep. Gohmert for Speaker of the House!

It is critical that Republican Members of Congress hear from us starting first thing tomorrow morning! And you can start tonight by talking about this on social media, email, or the old fashioned way – on the telephone to friends and family.

Elections have consequences, and one of the immediate effects of the 2014 election results – where conservatives won by distancing themselves from the Obama lawlessness – should be a new Speaker of the House who understands this voter mandate.

Before Tuesday's vote for Speaker of the House, we're sending a clear message that limited government, constitutional principles are necessary to defeat the Obama agenda.

In liberty,

JBM

P.S. I will be discussing the Speaker's race tonight on SiriusXM 125 (The Patriot Channel) at 7:30pm Eastern with Breitbart's Steve Bannon. Tune in!

I thanked your post not because I agree with JBM. I don't. I thanked your post because you stick with your convictions.

I don't think we'll see a different Speaker for the next term, but I'm interested to see how this will play out.

As long as it is not Pelosi...

Elections have consequences
That wasn't the attitude of the Right-Wing in 2008 and 2012, was it?

No, your attitude was "I hope he fails".
Well, the consequences done jumped up and smacked you libs square in the keester.

We've seen these "consequences" before, all part of the grand arc of history:

The Congress 1947-1949 und Truman.
The Congress 1959-1961 under Eisenhower, where the DEMS picked up 29 seats in the Senate.
The Congress 1975-1977 under non-elected President Ford (a decent fellow, I might add), with DEM hypermajorities.
The Congress 1987-1989 und Reagan
The Congress 1995-1997 under Clinton
The Congress 2007-2009 under Bush
And now, the Congress 2015-2017 und Obama.

Notice a pattern, Hoss?

Yepp, those presidents all survived those congresses.

Think about it.

The Republicans will take many counts before the election of speaker. Only one republican will be the nominee. Democrats will do the same and find someone other than Pelosi.
