This is a modernism-paranoia exchange between Batman and Harley Quinn (DC Comics).
====
BATMAN: America is a land of dreams...
HARLEY QUINN: ...and nightmares (e.g., Sleepy Hollow, Backdraft, Fresh).
BATMAN: Are you a prophet of nihilism, Harley?
HARLEY QUINN: I used to be a Yale botanist named Dr. Harleen Quinzel.
BATMAN: I know...
HARLEY QUINN: Why do you care about the innocence of industrialization?
BATMAN: I merely care about the quality of revolutionary-discourse, Harley.
HARLEY QUINN: I suppose then you're some kind of populism-poet.
BATMAN: That is EXACTLY what I am, Harley Quinn.
HARLEY QUINN: Are you pensive about what I'll expose regarding capitalism-biases?
BATMAN: I fear you are too anxious about commercialism vanities (e.g., Enron, Napster, Microsoft, etc.).
HARLEY QUINN: Maybe we can agree about Harper's Bazaar, "B-Man!"
BATMAN: You're at least correct about commerce-consciousness arrogance (e.g., Money Never Sleeps).
HARLEY QUINN: Perhaps capitalism is really about 'child-like ambition.'
BATMAN: Any witch has the free-right to pursue his/her own 'metaphysics-intrigue' curiosity...
HARLEY QUINN: In that case, may Excellence-Relaxation (e.g., Facebook) flourish!!
