I'm very happy with my Chinese made guitars. The prices of American made guitars are ridiculous - and they are not better quality then the Chinese guitars. Gibson should be ashamed!

I just bought a very nice guitar bridge from a Chinese company (Guyker) - it's a much better design than the American Tun-o-matic bridges.

My American made Guitar Preamp was recalled due to a design flaw (I fixed it - pretty lame that they recalled a $600 item when a $1 Zener diode was the problem).

I do have one really nice American made guitar: "Made in the U.S.A. BY MEXICAN IMMIGRANTS"

The real issue in American made products is the added cost of management heavy companies that overpay their executives, and the cost of profits. The cost of labor has not significantly impacted the price of American made products for a very, very long time.
