This is the DEFCON Warning System. Alert status for 7 P.M., Wednesday, April 11th, 2017. Condition code is Blue. DEFCON 4.



There are currently no imminent nuclear threats against the United States at this time, however there are events occurring in the world theater which require closer monitoring

Tensions in the Korean theater have risen to a difficult point. North Korea, while normally belligerent, is beginning to show signs of being backed into a corner. This is coupled with a more aggressive posture by the United States, and U.S. allies beginning to accept the idea of a ~preemptive strike on North Korea. Additionally, the United States has sent a strike group ......................

No. We are not affiliated with any government agency and DWS does not represent the alert status of any military branch. Military DEFCON levels are secret. We don’t know them and wouldn’t report them even if we did as that would compromise US security.
