We can only hope for the good of our country that the democrat party suffers heavily in 2014.

“Since Obama was elected President, the Democrats have lost nine governorships, 56 members of the House and two Senate seats,” Doug Sosnik, the political director in Bill Clinton’s White House, writes in a new memo.

While Republican branding problems get the lion’s share of attention, the Democratic Party’s favorability rating has declined by 15 points since Obama took power. A Pew Research Center survey this January showed that the Democratic Party was viewed favorably by 47 percent of Americans, down from 62 percent in Jan. 2009.

No one is saying that the propaganda wasn't effective the democrats learned their Alinski lessons well.

After all being the party of slavery they got blacks to vote for them.

After the debacles of the last 4 years they still voted for Obama.

But in reality the real poll that is objective and measurable is the on presented in the original post. Democrats are actually losing yet listening to them and the MSM one would think just the opposite.

What you are missing is the fact that the voting public is tired of both parties.. I think most people look at both parties as being dysfunctional and they are right. Both parties play politics instead of taking care of the problems facing this country and they have been doing this for over a decade.
So yes, the Dems are losing support but even more so, the GOP has lost support.
It's like the obsession with Benghazi versus the lack of attention to jobs and economy. Now in real life, where do you think people want all the effort? Benghazi or jobs/economy?
This obsession with Benghazi is hurting the GOP more than the Dems/Obama.

how are Democrat Senators/Reps running for re-election in red states going to explain themselves over the events of 9/11? why didn't they denounce and call out Obama and Hillary? its as if they just stood there, watched 4 Americans die while our Democratic Leaders did nothing.

Those who died at Benghazi deserve a fair and honest hearing. It is not a detraction it is the government's duty. How it turns out is how it turns out but to say it is a distraction is not correct to say so is disrespectful to those who gave their lives.

The democrat have had 4 years to do something about jobs, they have failed.

As the original posts clearly shows the democrats are losing seats not the Republicans. What you say is what you say, you opinion. Of course next you will post a poll proving your point but the facts be the facts.

It's easy: They are given opportunities to cast meaningless votes in order to dupe voters into thinking they are independent, then go back and reelect Reid and Pelosi.

What their GOP opponents should do is make up bumper stickers that show that they are running as a ticket with those two (e.g., Smith/Reid or Jones/Pelosi).

Agreed. Can you post links to hearings on the 60 people killed at diplomatic centers during the Bush presidency?

High integrity people want to compare how those hearings went with the current hearings.

Thanks in advance!

One doubts this. No question nutball fixation on Bengasi is hurting nutballs more than Obama. There is no way to connect Obama to Bengasi, or really even to the PR screwups that are the worst part of the mess.

But Slick Clinton sacrificed his party to protect his own financial interests after 2000 - and that is what it looks like Obama is doing here. My first words on the issue after noting no one with any horsepower cares, were Obama'll throw Clinton off the sled to lighten his load. That is exactly what he's doing.

Personally it is my hope to see a Clinton dragged through shit and this time actually ruined since disgrace has no apparent effect on the Clintons, who, after all is said and done hold most of the same views as the white trash they bailed on in Arkansas. But the longer corporatists can keep trailer trash barking at the moon over bengali, the better the nutball corporate team will do in the house in 2014. That is not a good thing for the United States.

The senate is a different kettle of fish. Nutballs look good on the top sheet in the senate for 2014, but like the factual post above showing nutballs at 33%, the senate is a tougher nut to crack.

Objectively, we have seen both Democrat and Republican party messages get tired and old. At that point, the Party must revisit its messaging and figure out which policies resonate with its voters.

"Party in decline" can be taken either of two ways; in terms of power numbers (which is meaningless) or in terms of relevance.

In the latter, both parties have been in solid decline for half a century if not more. If you can even consider them two parties rather than two flavors of one.

By the way there's no such thing as the "Democrat Party". Does not exist. That's a dead giveaway.
