The linked article was clearly meant to discourage Republican voters from voting when and how they wanted, no different than Democratic accusations. No, you are pointing out another lie by you MAGAs saying that the Left said or did something so that you can justify doing it yourself.
Got it. So when one party does the same thing as the other party you say one party is suppressing votes but the other party is not. No surprise. This new Republican strategy has sure got you guys worried so much that you are trying to talk them into not following their strategy.According to a MAGA spokesperson fabricating what the Left is suppose to be doing so that you can justify your own evils. There is another definition of "Fabricating" and that's lying.
Didn't really see them saying anything about not wanting to count after election day..Democrats are trying to discourage people from voting on election day and, get this, now, all of a sudden, they don't really want to count votes after election day. The gig is up.
The (Republican) strategy: Vote in person on Election Day or — for voters who receive a mailed ballot — hold onto it and hand it in at a polling place or election office on Nov. 8.
The Democratic response:
If enough voters are dissuaded from casting ballots early, it could lead to long lines on Election Day and would push back processing of those late-arriving mailed ballots. Those ballots likely would not get counted until the next day or later.
“It just slows everything down,” said Noah Praetz, the former election clerk in Cook County, Illinois, who now advises local election offices on best practices and security. “In many places, if you don’t get mail ballots in hand until Election Day, you are not counting them until after Election Day.”
GOP voters told to hold onto mail ballots until Election Day
Republican activists who believe the 2020 election was stolen from former President Donald Trump have crafted a plan that, in their telling, will thwart cheating in this year’s midterm elections. They might find a way to cheat again.Yeah, go with that folks. Wow. It says quite a bit about the Democrats that they are going to lose the House to the GOP when you have this sort of silliness.
They are trying to scare Republican voters into thinking of giving up their strategy but it ain't a gonna work. If Republicans had made these same comments they would be accused of trying to suppress votes.Didn't really see them saying anything about not wanting to count after election day..

Ummmmmmmmmm, we weren't even talking about that. We were talking about the LEFT trying to suppress votes. Please try to keep up.From the OPs original cite:
The plan is based on unfounded conspiracy theories that fraudsters will manipulate voting systems to rig results for Democrats once they have seen how many Republican votes have been returned early. There has been no evidence of any such widespread fraud.
So, you are saying you are against Republican voters being able to vote when and how they want? Why do YOU want to suppress votes? What you really mean is that MAGAs are trying to scare other MAGAs and right leaning people into believing what you are peddling.
Yeah, but I do think this strategy of waiting til the last day is dangerous. It a big opportunity for "problems" because the system was overwhelmed. They are trying to scare Republican voters into thinking of giving up their strategy but it ain't a gonna work. We've had hundreds of years of elections being held on election day only. It worked for hundreds of years.Yeah, but I do think this strategy of waiting til the last day is dangerous. It a big opportunity for "problems" because the system was overwhelmed.
Yeah, but this is 2022...we can't seem to manage such things these days....We've had hundreds of years of elections being held on election day only. It worked for hundreds of years.
No you voted ABSENTEE with proper verification procedures in place. You didn't send in one of millions of blindly sent out ballots that were never properly signature matched, or in many cases, had no proper chain of custody.I have already voted by mail. Standing in line for hours with a walker is impossible for me. Trump votes by absentee ballot too.
Republicans are wrong on this.
I don't see anyone in this article saying that any votes aren't going to be counted.Democrats are trying to discourage people from voting on election day and, get this, now, all of a sudden, they don't really want to count votes after election day. The gig is up.

The point went straight over your head. The article is a scare tactic of the left to get the right voting when and how the left want them to vote. If a rightie tried scaring democrats into when and how to vote you guys would be calling it trying to suppress votes. Hypocrisy is the point.I don't see anyone in this article saying that any votes aren't going to be counted.
Only that it might take a little longer to count them.
So what?
