All you do is push things back a bit. Then a bit back more. Days and weeks and months while the country declines and the new breed takes over to your joy. But that is all based on they being as good and better as those they replace. And at this point they are not. Take responsibility for the downside. Cut the costs to produce the big-ticket items we need to compete with the world and in science and military production also. The borders must be shut down for a period of years. Some of the millions here illegally must be sent back to where they came from. The massive number of tens of millions of people that came here since the immigration act of the mid 1960'smust assimilate. Many have. But more are needed.

If you need more legal immigrants to fill jobs then raise the quota but allow for that quota to also be pulled back at times also. Legal immigrants must also prove they are or can be self sufficient and don't need government hand outs to live here, and that also includes minor children.

We have softened our stance on Marijuana over the years due to "social injustice". Many of those who had been in jail for Marijuana offenses were bad dudes and the Marijuana charges kept them off the streets. Now these people are roaming the streets and guess what? Come on man. Pot was legalized because of common sense, not social justice. It should be done nation wide ASAP. That should be done for all drugs. legalize them, regulate them, tax it, defund the gangs, turn the enforcement deficit into a surplus and fund education, rehab, and programs to clean up our communities. It’s a no brainer.

Regarding immigration… we have a workforce shortage here in the us. Businesses can’t find workers. There is no reason why anybody should be paying mules to sneak them across the border. We should be bringing them over in buses to fill these jobs and use the increases in GDP and population to stimulate our economy.
