Hell... the Democratic Machine got so out-of-control in the 1960s that by 1971 one of the Chicago Sun-Times leading political reporters published a devastating expose...

King Richard I... followed later by Richard II... and a host of other corrupt Democratic mayors, and City Council folk, county commissioners, state legislators, etc.

The Democrats have had control of Chicago and Cook County since the 1932 elections.
