Really ? Whom ? Some far right Christian group ? No ligit business will touch this opportunity. Maybe you’d like more “Vegas” casinos with more gambling and prostitution to move in. That’s should go along with the far right Christian hypocrites. Now that Disney has proven the concept of a Winter Good-Weather Family-Fun Tourist Trap, others will rush in to fill that vacuum.
Turn it down a few notches and have a real conversation. You might learn something.Acting the fool? He fired all the corrupt officials that kept cheating for you Dems. He is keeping Fagism out of the Schools. And he just MAY be your next President.
"Is Said" ? Who the fuck said it ,commie?

"Considerable evidence exists to support the proposition that Walt Disney was an anti-Semite, although, as we shall see, the record is decidedly muddled and, Neal Gabler, Walt Disney’s personal biographer, vehemently denies the charge. It is sometimes difficult to isolate fact from fiction; for example, the allegation that Walt had a private meeting with Hitler and developed a relationship with him is sheer nonsense, but it is true that he went out of his way to meet Mussolini.
Even Gabler concedes that Walt “willingly, even enthusiastically, embraced [anti-Semites] and cast his fate with them,” and The Walt Disney Family Museum acknowledges, as it must, that Disney included ethnic stereotypes in some of his early cartoons.
When Walt visited Munich in 1935, Nazi newspapers warmly welcomed him as a hero who stood up to the Jews of Hollywood. (Interestingly, the Sleeping Beauty Castle that Walt later built at Disneyland closely resembles the Neuschwanstein Castle he saw in Bavaria during his trip.)
Walt never met with Hitler, but it is beyond dispute that the Fuhrer adored Disney’s work. Goebbels is said to have presented 12 Disney short films to Hitler as a Christmas present in 1937, which the latter treasured. Hitler was determined – and ordered Goebbels – to create a Nazi animation studio and production company that would rival Disney, but the result was Deutsche Zeichenfilm GmbH, which ultimately produced only a few Nazi propaganda cartoons.
In 1938, just a few weeks after Kristallnacht, Leni Riefenstahl, Hitler’s personal filmmaker and propagandist, came to the United States seeking an American studio to work with her. Famous – or infamous – for glorifying the Nazis, and best known for “Triumph of the Will” (1935), a revolting propaganda film that chronicled the 1934 Nazi Party Congress at Nuremberg, she was boycotted by all Hollywood studio leaders, except one – Walt – who expressed admiration for her work and gave her a personal tour of his studio..."
Walt Disney, Mickey Mouse, And The Nazis
Disney was hugely involved in the war effort. They turned out propaganda/ indoctrination material on an industrial scale. They painted nose art on bombers and signage for bases around the world. They sold tons of war bonds. Lots of American industrialists admired Nazi Germany for their industry and how they beat down the labor unions. In the end they all did the right thing. Some Jewish folks...

I live in Florida. They tax the living fuck out of the service industry and property. All our fees are high as well.
Maybe you’d like more “Vegas” casinos with more gambling and prostitution to move in.
Will they miss the spending power of salaries that average $120,000/yr., dope?Yeah lol. I am sure FL is very upset they wont be getting a couple thousand limp wristed pinkos in their state
There’s like 2000 other “special districts” in Florida. Why don’t have to pay their fair share?Having to pay their "fair share" seems to have them upset. Odd.
So much "winning".And now its Disney's turn. 2,000 jobs by by.

Disney has abandoned plans to open up a new employee campus in Lake Nona, Florida, amid rising tensions with the state's governor.
Citing "changing business conditions" and the return of CEO Bob Iger, Josh D'Amaro, chairman of Disney's parks, experiences and products division, penned a memo to employees Thursday, announcing that the company will not move forward with construction of the campus and will no longer be asking more than 2,000 California-based employees to relocate to Florida.
All of this could have been avoided and it would have been business as usual if Disney simply didn't play social agenda politics.
If they just stuck to making movies and shows for kids and adults, just tried to let people have fun and kept their mouths shut on things that have nothing to do with Disney then they would still have their special privileges.
But nope. Disney had to go woke and caused themselves a lot of unnecessary grief.
In other words if Disney kissed Ronny Boy's ass, played ball & didn't offend the poor thing. All of this could have been avoided and it would have been business as usual if Disney simply didn't play social agenda politics.

It is just a matter of time.It all evens out. I've lived here nearly 50 years now. Not leaving the state I love just because the governor is acting the fool. Florida governors have never directly attacked any part of our crucial tourist industry because it's our particular third rail of politics. When he starts costing rich people money he's toast.
It is just a matter of time.Actually California's service tax is higher than Florida's and property taxes are both below national average.. figure in Florida has no income tax Florida wins
You live in a shithole state. Drive from Augusta, GA across state line to SC and it's evident immediately. The roads turn to shit right at the border. The whole state is decrepit and broken down.Great I love it! Move all the liberals back to democrat states! Wish south Carolina would do the same. Fuck y'all!
All this could have been avoided had a people who claim to be Conservatives not decided it was the place of the government to punish entities for exercising their 1st amendment rights.
All this could have been avoided had Disney, already enjoying the perks of special government privileges, hadn't decided to bite the hand that feeds it.
Privileges come with a price.
Is it up there with AOC and Amazon? And now its Disney's turn. 2,000 jobs by by.
