Many years ago, Rush Limbaugh tired of hearing caller after caller waste the first few minutes of every call with "blowing smoke up his ass" with compliments, testimonials, and whatnot, and he asked them to please replace those words of praise with the simple word, "Dittoes," which the other listeners would understand to be a substitute for the effusive compliments - which no one needed to hear anyway.

We have reached the point in Media in the Era of Trump that virtually every story from the non-Fox media is infected with anti-Trump statements and innuendo, to the extent that it is difficult sometimes to see what the story is actually about.

I suggest that henceforth every "news" story be started with the simple statement, "Orange Man BAD!" In that way, the readers will be advised that the reporting "Journalist" hates Donald Trump, so there will be no need for the cancerous slanders in the actual story. We might even get some NEWS reporting, if we, the audience, are lucky.

So, for example, the Weatherman could start his report with, "Orange Man BAD!" and he wouldn't have to blame the bad weather on Trump's withdrawing from the Paris Climate Accords, and he could simply report the weather forecast. His hate of Trump would be on record, so nothing lost in translation. This suggestion is even more appropriate now, with the advent of the "Corona Virus," and it is difficult to discern exactly what the report is trying to say, for all the embedded Trump slanders.

Ultimately, the reports, both oral and written could be started with "OMB!" and we would know by the exclamation point that they are not referring to the Office of Management and Budget, but merely going on the record with the obligatory Trump hatred.

It would be, sort of, the opposite of the Nazi Germany greeting of "Heil Hitler!", but serve a similar purpose.

What do yins think?
