.

Well then go ahead and mail me all your "fraudulent" tender, since you won't be needing it anymore.

When you receive all of that play money...a round of Monopoly per chance?

5 hours on this site and I can already tell the intelligent from the ignorant. Do you honestly mean to tell me that congressional districts are drawn based on how accurately they represent the will of the voters?

It's been a long time since people were chosing their representatives.

Today, representatives are chosing their voters.

Here is map of Illinois congressional districts.

District 17, Rep. Hare, Phil

and they have the consent of the People

the people have the liberty to revolt

they choose not to

they're not that unhappy

What's that bizarre looking weapon in the first pic, xo?

It's a SIG 556 pistol. Uses AR-15 mags.
Kel Tec makes something similar and Bushmaster and probably Olympic make AR pistols.
Other than being able to carry one on your pistol permit I don't see much use for them. Look cool though.

Not true. Firearms allow everyone an equal amount of self-defense.

Unless the firearms are not equal.

tank-and-military-armor-specialist.jpg

In our two most recent wars, Iraq and Afghanistan, our enemies have not had those or planes or missiles...yet the Dems have claimed defeat it both of those operations.

Just sayin'.

Personally, I enjoy the benefits of a government. But given an option between one I trusted and one I don't...I'd choose one I could trust.

I wasn't really making a political statement about the wars overseas...

I was more trying to make the point that if he had an automatic rifle and I had a tank, and if I wanted his house, his house would be mine.

The government prevents me from owning a tank and using it to take my neighbors property...or at least they will reprimand me if I do.

How big of a reprimand do you think?

See, I have these neighbors...

I just did a google search for a gun...that's the one I picked.

I don't know too much about firearms, except that I can tell the difference between a watergun and a real gun when they are fired at me.

is it unloaded or is the clip that small?

so... it's basically a submachine gun?

There's no magazine in the gun.
It is a semi automatic weapon, so one shot per trigger squeeze.
I've never shot one. I did shoot an AK pistol, pretty much similar. Not real controllable. But it looked cool.
p.s. I actually do this for a living.

so that's the safety? I thought it was the switch for single shot/burst fire

as you can tell, I'm not very knowledgeable when it comes to firearms

i just know I never want to have one pointed at me then the trigger is squeezed

People have no clue what disctrict they belong to.

Most of them just look for R or D, and politicians knows that.

The switch above the index finger is the safe/fire switch. If it were fully automatic it would also have a setting for full. Like on the M-16/M-4s
We all have to start learning somewhere.

Non-partisan question.

This has nothing to do with politics. Nothing to do with President Obama.

This is just in general.

For the purposes of this poll, the government is controlled by your party.

You contradicted yourself twice in this post.

And the sad part is it ain't the first time either.

The point I was trying to get across is, this has nothing to do with the present administration.
