If a state didn't have the money to actually hold an election...would that be okay with you? I mean...the politicians in power could just stay, right? Until they worked out their budget and came up with a way to let you vote...would you be okay with that......

So.....apparently it isn't the Right to Vote that they are going to stop....it is the Right to own a gun...since no budget means no way to allow citizens to get a license to buy a gun.....

Why didn't the anti-gunners come up with this before? You just force normal, law abiding citizens to have to get a license to exercise their Right...and then just don't put money in the budget to allow people to get the license.....

See, wasn't that easy?

This is another reason licensing gun owners, registering firearms and forcing universal background checks are UnConstitutional....

This West Coast State May be Facing a Possible Suspension of Several Firearms Licensing Services

The Evergreen State issued Washingtonians a warning that due to an inability to agree on a state budget, services supporting firearms sales, training and licensing could be suspended as of July 1, 2017.

“If the Legislature does not approve budgets by June 30, several state agencies will go through full or partial operations shutdowns,” the notification states.

Firearms dealers and gun owners have reason to be wary of the legislative impasse. Washington already has some of the most restrictive laws relating to gun sales and transfers. Governor Jay Inslee (D-Wash.) previously used log-jammed legislation to issue an executive order to tighten the state’s firearms background checks, collect data on firearms-related death and injuries and for state agencies to create reduction strategies for what he called “a public-health response to a public-health crisis.”

If the Washington State Legislature fails to come to an agreement on the state budget by midnight on June 30, state agencies regulating firearms dealer licensing services will go dark or be reduced.

Seems to me, the US constitution guarantees the right to bear arms.

It doesn't say anything about guaranteeing SNAP benefits or HUD support.

I wonder if the representatives would be so quick to shut down social support agencies if they can't get their shit together?

If the State requires licensing, it must provide the means to obtain the license, or do away with the requirement.

Minimum coverage will not be forced to cover addiction treatment for everyone else. Most insurance already covers addiction on state levels. It won't be federal mandate for all as part of minimal coverage for those who don't need it. It was making cost prohibitive for those buying insurance.
It can now be offered as a rider to those who need it and bring cost down for those in good health so they can afford healthcare more tailored to the individual

Not like addiction treatment will stop altogether, it just won't be at the most expensive luxury centers/spas.
