Networking groups site:
Meetup dot com has done some dumb and risky things in the past.
Supported Resist (treasonous terrorist org) meetups even after warned of their threatening and illegal activities.
Advertised gatherings and groups during the pandemic.
But this takes stupidity to a whole new level=
they locked out 6months inactive accounts knowing full well people in droves took a hiatus from such networking groups meetup sites, of course they stoped using the site through the pandemic-Duh!

If the right is ever able to do away with private control of companies, like they want to do, you won't have to worry about that happening again.

Not only is that a silly statement, but it ignores the fact Gov't lets some of these companies violate our rights and do unlawful things, because they are in their pockets and take advantage of the benefit of having these media and social networks as agents and puppet voices. Once a politician stops towing the line and does the right thing, they become targets of removal, Al Franken is a perfect example.
Franken refused to be controlled by Comcast dollars and spearheaded the refusal of the Comcast &Time Warner merger, and not too long after he was railroaded out of office by the very same media outlets those corps own MSNBC and CNN.

Hopefully Conservatives and Independents will ensure success of alternative Social Media.
