1. Exactly how important, and how 'fixed' is IQ? Culture, in fact may be the more important factor. Occupational achievements of both Chinese Americans and Japanese Americans exceed those of white Americans with the same IQs. Japanese Americans occupational achievements were equal to those of whites who had 10 points higher in IQ...and Chinese Americans occupational achievements were equal to those of whites who had 20 points higher in IQ...
James R. Flynn, "Asian Americans: Achievement Beyond IQ," p. 116-117.

2. Progressives used the fact that groups with lower IQs tended to have large families as a reason for eugenics, i.e., that over time, this would lower the national IQ. Actually, research in more than a dozen countries showed that the average performance on IQ tests rose substantially- by a full standard deviation or more- in a generation or two.
James R. Flynn, "The Mean IQ of Americans: Massive Gains 1932-1978, Psychological Bulletin, vol. 95, pp. 29-51; and Flynn, "Massive Gains in 14 Nations: What IQ Really Means," Psychological Bulletin, vol. 101, pp. 171-191.

3. Considering the negative effects of black subculture on intellectual development, "Schooling in a homogeneous group of students appears to have a positive effect on high-ability students' achievements and even stronger effects on the achievements of high-ability minority youth."
Page and Keith, "The Elephant in the Classroom: Ability Grouping and the Gifted," Intellectual Talent: Psychometric and Social Issues, p. 208. To be clear- intellectual grouping rather than racial grouping is more important.

a. Get this: A study of high-IQ black adults found that they described their childhoood as "extremely unhappy" more often than other blacks.
Sowell, "Intellectuals and Race," p. 76.
The study was done long before current reports of academically striving blacks being accused by their peers of "acting white."

b. Now, this is the hermeneutic key to understanding the problems of our society:

Empirical studies show a negative correlation between black students academic achievement and their popularity among other black students. An opposite pattern was found among both white Americans and Asian Americans.
Stuart Buck," Acting White: The Ironic Legacy of Desegregation," pp. 11-17.

c. Nor is this a racial characteristic; it is cultural. In England, lower class whites show a pattern strikingly similar to American blacks, who resent academically achieving classmates.
Theodore Dalrymple reports lower class school children being beaten so badly that they require hospital treatment simply because they are doing well in school.
Dalrymple, "Life At The Bottom: The Worldview That Makes The Underclass," p.69.

4. Should there be any doubt that the subculture is a detriment, and that the mistaken view by the Left that it should be worn as some sort of honor?

Consider this history of all-black Dunbar High School in Washington. During an earlier period, Dunbar sent 34 to Amherst College. 74% of those black students graduated from Amherst, with 28% graduating as Phi Beta Kappas.
Hundley, "The Dunbar Story," p. 75.

The point? Dunbar did not promote a black subculture.

a. Senator Edward Brooke, speaking of Dunbar High School: "Negro History Week was observed, and in American history they taught about the emancipation of the slaves and the struggle for equality and civil rights. But there was no demand by students for more, no real interest in Africa and its heritage. We knew about Africa as we knew about Finland." Our Far-Flung Correspondents: A VERY SPECIAL MONUMENT : The New Yorker

5. Lest any miss the point, it is that the multiculturalists' unfortunate belief that all cultures are equal, is both prevalent in education, and destructive. During WWI, the results of mental tests of white soldiers from various Southern states were lower than the mental test scores of black soldiers from various Northern states.
H.J.Butcher, "Human Intelligence: Its Nature and Assessment," p. 252.

6. Another feature to consider in the heredity vs. environment controversy: females are several times as numerous as males among blacks with high IQs.
Witty and Jenkins, "Educational Achievement of a Group of Gifted Negro Children," Journal of Educational Psychology, vol. 25, p. 593.
They inherit the same genes, are raised in the same homes and neighborhoods......explanations rest on the culture, the excessively 'macho' roles of males associated with and emphasizing certain sociopathologies.

When Bill Cosby spoke of this, he was beaten from pillar to post ....the fraud, Michael Eric Dyson, even wrote a book lambasting Cosby ("Is Bill Cosby Right?: Or Has the Black Middle Class Lost Its Mind?")....
Face the truth, activists, Liberals, Democrats, poverty pimps.....

Either you're for lives, or for votes....
For people or for power....

Under Obama.....have blacks done better or worse?

culture is a huge factor. not only in ability/desire to learn, but dress, style, music, careed choices, everything. it's such a large influence as a matter of fact that it is even responsible for most stereotypes.
