The news in the OP is a harbinger of things to come in the coming decades, IMHO.

As the Caucasian population continues to shrink, and as the population of Americans of African ancestry and of Hispanic ancestry continues to increase, sensitive issues are bound to arise between those two ethnicities.

People who think that the ethnic disagreements in this country will disappear once the Caucasian population basically disappears in the next century may be a little too optimistic.
