Just saw recently and it stood out.

A couple of my favorites that aren't comedies.

Out of the Past'Robert Mitchum, Kirk Douglas, Jane Greer. Directed by Tourneur.

I think it's Mitchum's best noir film.

My Darling Clementine- Henry Fonda, Walter Brennan, Victor Mature, Linda Darnell. Directed by John Ford.

One of Mature's best roles, and Brennan's excellent performance as the bad guy stands out, so does Fonda as Wyatt Earp. Fonda was a very good western actor, should have done more of them. Most people under 50 probably never heard of it or don't like it because it's a black and white western with non-PC scripting.

Really can't believe this did not win an Academy Award in any category, this is one of the first films directed by one of the greatest ever, Stanley Kubrick, starring legendary Kirk Douglas as Colonel Dax. Powerful acting, I think this was Kubrick's first anti-war film.

I just finished watching this movie it has a lot of good character actors early in their careers and it is a good story in a gritty type of way.
Shack Out on 101 is well done.

Spencer's Mountain. Watched it in school a few times when we had a substitute teacher. Sort of stuck with me.
