Jan. 6th was a protest that went too far, but ironically, not nearly as far nor nearly as deadly nor nearly as economically impactful nor nearly as damaging as the multitude of riots that went too far during Trump’s term.

Please show me a single individual pardoned.The left already got their pardons for the majority of the damage done during the summer of love. Most Republicans just want the same treatment for those that were non-violent trespassers on Jan. 6th that all non-violent rioting trespassers received following their riots. Do you think those that took over a police station in Seattle received the same sentences as those that walked through the Capitol escorted by the Capitol Police?

Not confused. When the rioters are pardoned, their crime disappears. They’re innocent. Their punishment isn’t lessens. They’re excused.You are confused. What we want is for equal justice. These “social justice” rioters as you call them go slaps on the wrist compared to rioters on Jan. 6, many of which did far less than the rioters. What did sentences were handed out to rioters who caused no damage and at the most were trespassing as compared to those that did the same on Jan. 6? I think it is fair to say that we can’t go back and re-try the “social justice” rioters and give them stiffer penalties, but we can lessen the charges against those that were non-violent trespassers on Jan. 6 to be more equitable. It is you and your kind that doesn't have any interest in equal justice.

That’s actually quite easy to understand, if you’re a logical adult.
Protestors that entered the Capitol were trespassing and therefore breaking the law.Protestors that entered the Capitol received punishment. Over 1200 to date. Almost all of those were charged with disorderly and disruptive conduct and most for entering and/or remaining in a restricted building or grounds. We aren’t talking about those that did damage as they received these charges plus additional.
