I think if you take any politician, this is easily the case.
Having said that though, I doubt you find any President whose campaign vs. reality is so polar opposite on so many big issues.
Government debt --- completely opposite.
Guantanamo --- " "
Corruption and transparency ---- " "
Market/financial sector corruption ------ " "
PAC Money and campaign reform ------ " "
And on, and on.
Obama the candidate and Obama the President is two totally different people.
