The gun nuts love to rave about mental health issues, right up until mental health becomes cause for regulating one's access to guns,

and then they're right back to their extreme interpretation of the 2nd amendment.

What we object to is short cutting due process. You want unelected, unaccountable bureaucrats to have the ability to remove constitutional rights when due process requires a judge to do so.

Yeah gun control clearly does not work and when normal people realize that they can try to figure how to help instead of the mindless blabber about more of what does not ever work.

Countries with strong gun control aren't constantly mourning the last mass shooting like us. Seems to work actually.

You are assuming there are no other differences.

We didn't have these things happening when I was a child and we had LESS restrictive laws in those days.

Bet AR15's weren't common either. And we had 6 shot revolvers rather than high capacity semi autos.

‘Mental health’ is the right’s red herring of the gun violence debate – they offer no substantive solutions to address the issue of mental health and gun violence; indeed, they seek to cut funding or otherwise eliminate healthcare programs that can afford mental health treatment to those in need.
