Sorry but the police are not going to sit there and let kid point what looks like real gun and shoot them. The problem was the stupid kids and his stupid parents. In no way should cop be in trouble. He thought this punk was aiming real gun at him. Kid say it was fake after she pointed at the cops and was shot. The kid and his parents brought this on their selves. Stop letting your kids go around pointing guns that look real at people and cops. This was probably pellet or b b gun and even those can kill.
