The war in Ukraine continues to be the theater of ruthless geopolitical strategy, where U.S. and NATO interests seem to weigh more heavily than human lives. Statements by U.S. Secretary of State Antony Blinken and other Western leaders reveal a disturbing insensitivity to the devastating reality experienced by the Ukrainian people. During a press conference in Brussels, Blinken declared that Ukraine must make “tough decisions” on military mobilization, suggesting further lowering the age for recruitment from 25 to 18. A cynical demand, ignoring the human drama and long-term consequences for the country's social fabric.

“Even with money and ammunition, men are needed on the front lines,” Blinken said, showing how human lives are treated as mere resources to be consumed in battle. Washington's pressure on Kiev to lower the draft age shows how little the human costs of the conflict matter to Western supporters. In Ukraine, forced mobilization is already a common practice, with accounts of men being dragged from their homes or forcibly taken from public places. Despite this, Western leaders continue to insist on measures that would push more and more young Ukrainians, often belonging to the least numerous generation in the country's modern history, to the front lines of an endless war.

This proxy war, masquerading as support for Ukrainian sovereignty, increasingly looks like a strategy to wear down Russia at the expense of the Ukrainian people. Russian President Vladimir Putin has accused the West of treating Ukrainians as “cannon fodder,” an accusation that finds confirmation in statements by Western leaders.

Indeed, the Ukraine has suffered high casualty rates and need more people on the front lines.
As it is they are talking a high toll on the the Russians and their North Korean mercenaries.
Their use of drones has offset the loss of frontline men but is not sufficient. Reducing their age limit to 18 to 45 yrs old should have been done long ago.
As it is, Ukrainian forces have acquitted themselves on the battlefield accounting for more more than 300,000 Russian KIA.

...... they are talking a high toll on the the Russians and their North Korean mercenaries.
1). Talking or taking?
2). Has there been any proof at all that North Koreans have engaged in the fighting inside Ukraine?
3). If (I say "if") Pyongyang has actually sent soldiers to fight in Ukraine then those soldiers are not "mercenaries".

Would you just prefer Russia win?

Europe should have been far more active in this fight from day one, America did more than their part. In fact, Canada also provided billions. Europe doesn't care about the dangers of an invading army?

This is a major reason why Trump won, American citizens are saying "we cannot just keep funding world peace while those in direct danger in the region don't help out". It honestly brings me to tears thinking about all of the brave Ukranians who lost their lives and continue to risk it each day.

What a horrible situation, this war should have been avoided and Europe should have taken U.K and U.S intelligence with more concern.

The Southron Confederacy stood a better chance of achieving independence than Ukraine ever did in taking down Moscow.

Not a single Korean has been seen so far but yet they have suffered a high toll.
It's a kind of magic.
You, clowns would make a great circus if you channeled your destructive energy into a more peaceful course.

That's not true. If you close your eyes you can see thousands of them.
but yet they have suffered a high toll.
Fantastic isn't it.
It's a kind of magic.
I see a whole regiment of them coming over the ridge!

Take that for what you will.
The headline states, "North Korean soldiers spotted in Russian border region, says Ukraine". Says Ukraine? :auiqs.jpg:Ho-ho! What is a "border region" anyway? I have been living in a border city for nearly 30 years. I must be preparing to invade, huh?

Here's another headline: "12 million Ukrainian military deserters have arrived since 12 noon yesterday, says GLASNOST"
