Forget the laws of NYC. Protect yourself!

Not a surprise.

Most leftards roll this way.
I couldn't possibly ever torture anyone. I just wanted you to think. What they were doing to those asylum victims makes waterboarding look like child's play. You and I can never find ourselves in that predicament due to the laws of today. Bring that back and I'd hate to see your mind go. It would suck to be tortured while also suffering from dementia.

That looks like a mentally ill person.

Since we won't invest in mental health treatment or compel the mentally ill to get help, we are probably going to have to learn to live with people like this.
Actually its bleeding heart libs of your stripe who keep nut cases out of the hospitals where they belong

The actual wording of the special council is that Biden would present himself as an old forgetful an probably senile old man and win favor with a jury. This is a politically polite way of saying he could dismiss charges without prejudice. Easy way out for Biden and the council, I think they may have underestimated what a jury would do. It does not address the fact that Biden is still in control, or some are saying he is, and that is the same old sleepy sloppy Joe Biden. ‘A nightmare’: Special counsel’s assessment of Biden’s mental fitness triggers Democratic panic
That the actual fuck are you babbling about?

Why would he be in front of a jury?

You seem to have a whole different reality in your head.

Penny strangled a smaller, unarmed man to death. This is nothing to be proud of.

I agree, the politicians have failed. You see, in the past, we didn't have a "homeless" problem. The mentally ill were confined to institutions. Then some idiots on the Supreme Court ruled you can't lock a mentally ill person up unless he is an immediate danger. if you give him his meds, and he calms down, he's no longer an immediate danger and you release him. then he stops taking his meds and becomes a danger again.

The states stopped funding hospitals in favor of "halfway houses".

But since we aren't going to invest the resources to get people like Sebastian Zapeta-Calil or Jordan Neely off the streets and into care, we are going to have to learn to live with them.
Wrong you ignorant fucking fool

We have always had a homless problem. Only SOMe mentally iuill people were institutionalizzed

You always have to lie about shit you uneducated twat

Who created and pushed for the closing of Psychiatric Hospitals?
Why, Democrats of course. Led by Ted Kennedy and Jimmy Carter....

Mental Health Systems Act of 1980

US law

Totally wrong.
It was entirely Reagan who closed all the federal mental health facilities in 1981.
{...
President Ronald Reagan
President Ronald Reagan deinstitutionalized the mentally ill and emptied the psychiatric hospitals into so-called “community” clinics in 19811. This led to many mentally ill people ending up in jails and prisons which are not set up to provide safe, compassionate care for brain illnesses1. In 1967, Reagan signed the Lanterman-Petris-Short Act and ended the practice of institutionalizing patients against their will, or for indefinite amounts of time2. Almost a decade later, President John F. Kennedy signed the Mental Retardation Facilities and Community Health Centers Construction Act3.

Time is moving backward for you? :p

Actually, they were closed by SCOTUS rulings, when the majority of the court were Eisenhower and Nixon appointees.

Indeed, Robert Hur hit the nail squarely on the head, Joey B, is too far gone mentally to be legally responsible for those actions and should be hospitalized rather than be president.

Except he had to admit under cross that Biden was cogent during interviews...

the problem was, he didn't really have a case. He knew he didn't have a case, but let's take an opportunity to slander the sitting president.

What’s an IC?
If you are too stupid to know this, you shouldn't be participating in the conversation.

You should really blame the asylum employees for having been torturous and evil. That's why they ended up being shut down.

Except they really weren't. They did the best they could with the resources they had, and the fact most of these people really can't be treated. Medicate them, keep them fed and sheltered. Job done.

But some idiots saw "One flew over the Cookoo's Nest" and thought that was a real thing.

Penney didn’t strangle anyone to death. The testimony showed that every time Penney tried to back off on force he was attacked again. He and the other two passengers were trying to use minimal force against a violent, mentally ill criminal who had multiple warrants out for the same abusive behavior and a long criminal record.

So he deserved to be murdered, amiright?

I mean, it wasn't like he was a white person or anything.

Hilarious, you make this statement as if to tell the people fk you, you have to accept your fate and don't defend yourselves. wow. what a human you fking are.
