The rubes better realize this

Michael Hayden, the former head of the NSA and CIA, thinks some of presidential candidate Donald Trump's campaign promises are so unlawful that the U.S. Armed Forces could not follow them as orders.

These include Trump's claim that people deserve to be waterboarded even if it doesn't work and that he would target the families of terrorists. The internationally recognized Geneva Conventions bars such action.

"If he were to order that once in government, the American armed forces would refuse to act,"

Where the hell has Hayden been? Is he such a political tool of the left that he didn't know that our own elite Troops go through waterboarding in training and that waterboarding is and has been part of the psy-ops manual for decades? No wonder the freaking CIA and NSA is so screwed up with political hacks like Hayden.

Yes, we do put some of our special forces through waterboarding. Why? Because there is a possibility that they might end up in a situation where the enemy doesn't follow the Geneva conventions.

It's not something that is done in regular boot camp, because that type of thing isn't generally encountered on the standard battle field.

Additionally, every time I went through a Navy Rights and Responsibilities course (usually 2 days every 6 months for the 20 years I was in), we were told that if we were given an unlawful order by an officer, and we knew that order to be unlawful, we could state that it was unlawful, tell the officer why, and refuse to do whatever we were ordered to do.

Going against the Geneva conventions is one such example.

Too bad civilians don't know that.

Lets see, if Trump gave an illegal order our military wouldn't obey but If Obama gave an illegal order they would? Remind me who ordered the stand down in Benghazi again?

This isn't about Muslims, or waterboarding or overseas war. It's basically certain elements in the country threatening a coup against Trump if he is elected. If not a coup, complete hostility between military branch and political branch. This is because Trump wants to retain the white christian majority and Jewish Americans don't want that. Jewish Americans are influential, and they're essentially threatening to Trump that even if he got popular vote, they will break law and not obey the peoples voice. It's up to the White Christian majority to make sure that doesn't happen.

Dude you're so naive, this is about the domestic situation. Nobody ever cared what the strikes overseas which have always broke law and deliberately targeted civilians. There is about to be a big domestic tug of war in the country that may get violent. If it does, this is the anti-white side threatening that the military will stand against them in such a scenario and the usual policies we're used to will remain.

If it came to that, what the regular military wanted wouldn't make any difference since those orders wouldn't be going to them.

All of Obamas Generals are going to need the boot......all his Dept heads ........every damn Obot

You certainly gave some good reasons not to elect Trump.
